Planning

“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”

-Benjamin Franklin.

Although there are numerous types of plans for different aspects of business, we are going to focus on the two that most small businesses will actually use. You can find them below.

Business Plan

Business plans are essentially a detailed overview of your business and typically includes: mission statement, organizational structure, management team, financial projections, etc. There are two types of business plans, traditional and lean.

Lean: This method is basically an outline, and it can consist of tables and bullet points. Usually, this method is used as a starting point for a traditional plan.

Traditional: This method is more detailed and in-depth, and generally takes longer to complete. Most financial backers (banks and investors) will request this type of plan.

Marketing Plan

A marketing plan, as the name suggests, focuses on marketing. This document lays out how you intend to reach your target market or consumers. Marketing plans typically include: business, marketing, and brand overviews, description of marketing channels, marketing budget, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and a description of the market.

One of the most important components of a marketing plan is RESEARCH. Research your market (or intended market), research the competition, entry barriers, consumer behaviors, etc. That is the main purpose of this document, to show that you have an understanding and a plan in place, to enter the market.

Services

Nobody understands your vision better than yourself, but these plans can become a bit overwhelming. Well, you do not have to take them on by yourself, we would be happy to assist you with them.

Currently, we offer two planning services:

Analysis and Revise: You provide the current plans and supporting data, we review it, summarize any suggested revisions in our report, and deliver them to you.

Co-Pilot: This option is a part of our Coaching Services, which we would work together to create your plan. Therefore, you can familiarize yourself with the processes, and it ensures that we create the document(s) to reflect your vision and business to the fullest.
